Environment
In the field of environment, we do full-scale environmental audit, identify problems, develop appropriate strategies and also assess the conditions of surface and groundwater, geology layers and buffering capacity of the environment. Our activities encompass developments in areas of wastewater disposal, wastewater treatment, liquid waste treatment and disposal, waste management and quality enhancement of drinking water, as well as remediation of brownfield areas and rehabilitation of contaminated soils.
To widen our scope, we have also been engaged in nature conservation projects, air pollution, noise and vibration control projects. Recently, our main focus covers areas related to the use of renewable energy sources, the potentials of energy efficiency in Hungary, and the expansive use of natural resources. When we are working on assessing the environmental impacts of projects, we resort to state-of-the-art methods; which includes a wide range of professionally sound databases and application of various IT tools.
It should be noted that in a number of environmental projects, the collaboration of several disciplines is a must, a very useful synergy with transport, economics, and regional development that are all in the professional scope of TRENECON. Therefore, when it comes to our position, we also seek to secure a strong position in the preparation of national and EU R&D&I funding applications.
