Analysis of environmental impacts

Activities, developments identified in the relevant legislation that have a significant or likely to have a significant impact on the environment are subject to a screening procedure, environmental impact assessment or an Integrated Pollution Prevention and Control procedure (IPPC) in order to set the conditions for the use of the environment. The dossiers to be submitted to the environmental authority shall be prepared only by licenced specialists with appropriate professional powers.

When an investment or activity can be expected to have an impact on Natura2000 sites, a Natura2000 impact assessment documentation shall be prepared. This documentation should examine the effects on the plant and animal species on which the Natura 2000 site is designated, and impacts on the conservation status.

Our employees have the necessary professional licencing to carry out the complex tasks required by the legislation (i.e. waste management, air purity protection, water and geologic layers protection, noise and vibration protection, landscape protection, nature conservation) and also have the appropriate professional experience.

In line with the main scopes of our activities, our colleagues have successfully supported the environmental permit procedures for a number of environmental (waste management, wastewater treatment) and transport development projects.
