Preparation of Integrated Urban Development Strategies for District Municipalities

In 2015, commissioned by the Ministry of Interior, our company collaborated in the development of Integrated Urban Development Strategy for 57 district capitals and the Urban Development Concept of 11 cities in three regions.

We carried out planning tasks as consortium lead member for the South Great Plain region and the North Great Plain region, while as a member of a seven-member consortium for the Central Transdanubia region with the assistance of a team of nearly 100 experts.

As a conclusion of the assignment we delivered studies where we synthetized the results at regional level and proposed actual measures. In these documents we :

– evaluated the implementation of the previous Integrated Urban Strategies, 2007-2013 of the cities, the achievement of the objectives and corresponding development interventions

– based on the experience gained in the preparation of the IUS for the districtmunicipalities we evaluated
