Strategy Development, Institutional and Financial Analysis

Our activities have covered the development of a number of economics support studies for national regulations on waste take-back, environmental product charges, economic regulatory instruments to protect the environment, environmental funding schemes, transport regulators, etc.. In addition, we have carried out economic analyses both in Hungary and abroad, and  developed professional proposals on the establishment of possible institutional framework in correspondence with the envisaged legislation. 

We also provide project-level financial planning, budgeting, or resource planning for our clients. We do calculations to provide evidence that proves overcompensation of projects with EU support does not occur. Such complex projects and public services require thorough planning and a sound charging policy, in order to ensure long-term sustainability. To achieve this, we have up-to-date knowledge of the existing legislation, current and planned contractual and ownership conditions, the potential operating schemes (asset management, operation, VAT issues, etc.) and more importantly, we are aware of the EU and national aid rules that are all required for project-level decision support studies and financial analysis of projects.
